**Days to mature at R8 reproduction stage. Many varieties failed
to reach the R8 reproduction stage (full maturity when 95% of the pods reach
their mature brown pod color) before the killing frost on September 24. This
rating however is a rough estimate of maturity and all varieties reached
physiological maturity and contained no green seed in the seed sample. The
one exception was PB-0321 RR which was given a visual green seed
rating of 3 on a scale of 0-9 where 0 indicates yellow seed and 9 indicates dark
green coloring in the same sample.
