Service Charges

Service charges are assessed based on the square footage of bench space used.  If benches are not used, the service charge is assessed on the square footage of the room.  This rate is reviewed regularly by the Ag Budget Office and greenhouse staff and is subject to change. 

Rates

$0.70 per square foot of bench space per month

Expenses

Included:

• Supplies including but not limited to growing media, fertilizers, containers, and labels
• Equipment and repairs
• Salaries for student and contracted labor

Not Included:

• Seeds and plants

Services

Included:

• Pest control, environmental control, supply inventory and delivery, equipment maintenance, lighting, weekend and holiday watering, consultation, space programming, and training

Not inlcuded:

• Daily watering, potting, or transplanting
