Dry Out Before Rebuildingmoisture meter

Don't be in a hurry to get your home back to "normal" after flooding. Wood must dry out to 13 percent moisture before replacing Sheetrock and other wall coverings. This video shows how to use a moisture meter to measure.

Individuals and families now have a toolkit to help them recover financially after experiencing a natural disaster. The NDSU Extension Service and University of Minnesota Extension have developed Recovery After Disaster: The Family Financial Toolkit, a free, online resource to assist people in pulling the financial pieces of their life back together.
