Dry Out Before Rebuilding

Don't be in a hurry to get your home back to "normal" after flooding. Wood must dry out to 13 percent moisture before replacing Sheetrock and other wall coverings. This video shows how to use a moisture meter to measure.

Financial Recovery Toolkit

Individuals and families now have a toolkit to help them recover financially after experiencing a natural disaster. The NDSU Extension Service and University of Minnesota Extension have developed Recovery After Disaster: The Family Financial Toolkit, a free, online resource to assist people in pulling the financial pieces of their life back together.

Disaster Recovery Log Phone App

The Disaster Recovery Log app helps you record information about damages to your home and property using text, images and audio. It is available free through the Android market.
