NDSU Rodeo Team Sends Three to CNFR

Congratulations to three members of the NDSU rodeo team who recently qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming.  The three team members include Austin Martin who qualified in Bareback Riding, Jordy Rist in Barrel Racing, and James Kapp in Bull Riding.  This is the first year since 1989 that NDSU has qualified three individuals in the same year!  In order to qualify, contestants must finish in the top three in the Great Plains Region.  The CNFR began on Sunday, June 12 and finishes on Saturday, June 18.  The team is coached by Tate Eck.
