4H English Clinic

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS : February 26th 4H English Clinic:

Sponsored by  Cass Co. Extension,  NDSU and AEER

LOCATION:  ND Horse Park, NDSU EQUINE CENTER Indoor Heated Arena
                                                19^th Ave. North and 45 Street-   West of NDSU campus

COST:  Free to all 4H members and NDSU Students,  but $20.00 stall fee if desired

****REMINDER:  Non- ND horses must have current Coggins and Health Certificates with them. ND Horses must have a Coggins  dated within the past 12 mths.

Registration:  9:30-10AM:  Held at indoor arena bleachers

10:00AM:  Demonstrations on Western and English Dressage,  and Hunter Under Saddle

10:45 AM:  Demonstrations  on Jumping and Hunter Hack,  Cross Country Eventing

11:30AM- 12:30:  Break for POTLUCK  lunch,  Warm up your horse

12:30- 1 PM:  Tack Sizing and tryout—if you don’t have your own,  try out ours!!!!  Meet at the bleachers.  

                       (PLEASE indicate that you will be coming without a saddle on registration form so we have enough!)

1 :00- 2:00PM  Hunter Under Saddle /Equitation  lessons and Hunter Hack Demo

2:00- 3:30PM -  Basic Dressage movement lesson,  Dressage Mini-test practice

3:30-4:30-  Safety and Beginning Jump lessons,  jump practice or Cavaletti Work- based on skill

4:30- 5:00- Wrap up,  4H Guidelines review, Show Schedules for Summer,  Tack Return
