Glyphosate Formulations for Roundup Ready Sugarbeet in 2011 (5/19/11)
A publication entitled ‘Glyphosate Formulations Labeled for RR Sugarbeet in 2011’ is available at the NDSU Weed Science Website at the following address: http://www.ag.ndsu.edu/weeds/sugarbeet-files/Glyt%20RRbeets.pdf. The publication lists all known glyphosate formulations labeled for Roundup Ready Sugarbeet in Minnesota and/or North Dakota. Formulations are listed in alphabetical order by trade name within one of eight different formulation concentration groups. Three glyphosate acid equivalent rates per acre along with its corresponding product rate in fluid ounces per acre are listed for each formulation concentration group. Product rates are rounded down to the nearest whole fluid ounce to make sure total amounts of glyphosate are not exceeded. The manufacturer of each formulation, the type of glyphosate salt(s) included in each formulation, and the amount of adjuvant load are also presented in the publication. Additional surfactant (adjuvant) recommendations are provided in the publication.
