COMMUNICATION ARTS CONTEST HELD

May 12, 2008

7 4-H'ers from Richland County took part in the Communication Arts Contest held May 12, 2008, at Wyndmere Public School. The youth are given a chance to do demonstrations and public speaking and are judged. Judges for the event were Jean Hoerer, Librarian at Richland 44 School, Colfax, and Mary Mauch, former 4-H Leader. Honors in the following categories are as follows:


INTERPRETIVE READING
PRE-TEEN Blue - Ana Braaten, Wyndmere, Believers 4-H Club

TEEN Grand Champion - Abby Braaten, Wyndmere, Believers 4-H Club

COMMERCIAL
TEEN Blue - Nicholas Weber and Joe Lepp, Wahpeton, Helping Hands 4-H Club

Some of the above winners in each category will be eligible to compete at the District Communication Arts contest which will be held in Fargo on June 30.
