Richland County 4-H Council Meeting Minutes
January 31, 2007

The special council meeting was called to order by President Dennis Knudson. Present were: Dennis Knudson, Sharon Ritten, Karen Weber, Joan Beyer, Deb Knudson, Brenda Vertin, Deb Evenson, Colleen Svingen, Dale Siebert and Mark Ritten.

This meeting was called discuss a new Awards Form and set the 4-H Calendar of Events.

A motion was made by Joan Beyer and seconded by Deb Knudson to: "Accept the proposed Awards Form with the Awards Committee changes made within one week." The motion passed with four "Yes" votes and Karen voting against it.

The following dates were tentatively chosen for this year�s events:

Family Fun & Fitness Day - TBA

NDSU Ag Trip - TBA (April14, 2007)

Communication Arts/ Raffle Drawing - May 17, 2007

District Communication Arts - May 30, 2007

Consumer Choices - April 14, 2007 (Changed to March 17, 2007)

Rummage Sale - May 4 & 5, 2007 (proposed) (Committee: Georgia Vosburg, Lori Peplinski, Theresa Olson, and Karen Weber to confirm date.)

Showcase - June 19, 2007

Richland/Wilkin Activity Day - TBA

Achievement Days - July 13, 2007 Livestock and July 14, 2007 Statics

Fun Day - Feb 9, 2008

(Awards Banquet - Oct 7, 2007 added later)

Motion made to adjourn by Deb Knudson; seconded by Joan.

Next meeting will be Feb. 12, 2007 at 5:15 at the 4-H Office.
