Nelson County 4-H

 

Events

The Nelson County 4-H Awards Day was held on Sunday, November 16 at the Michigan Civic Center.  Individual, group, and club awards and achievements were recognized.   Games were played and lunch served by the host club, the Michigan Northern Lights. 

Named as outstanding members of each club were:  Chantelle Brua, teen, and Dean West, preteen, of the 4-H Hawks; Maggie Mork, teen, of the All Stars; Anna Kinneberg, teen, and Nathan Kinneberg, preteen, of the Green Clovers; Jared Peterson, teen, and Teri Hamel, preteen, of the Lakota Cloverleaves; and Mikal Ryba, teen, and Carrie Anderson, preteen, of the Northern Lights.

for my club, my community, my country, and my world.

  The 2003 Nelson County 4-H "Club of the Year" is the Northern Lights of Michigan.  Pictured are club members (back row) Nicole Dinger, Carrie Anderson, Lori Johner, Marleigh Kuchar, Nicole Vasichek, Mykal Ryba, (middle row) Noelle Head, Nicole Berdal, Jordyne Janke, Kimberley Slettebak, Jael Head, and (front row) Maddi Lamb and Casey Dinger.  Club leaders are JoAnn Ryba, Sherrie Kjorsvik, and Lauree Head.
