Dress Code

1. Dress code for Horse Achievement Day participants includes approved helmet, western boots, dark blue or black jeans or slacks with a belt, and a long-sleeved,
    solid white shirt with a 4-H emblem on front. No gloves, ties or jewelry is allowed.

2. All 4-H participants/exhibitors must wear a solid white, yellow, gray, or green shirt or blouse with a 4-H emblem prominently displayed and securely fastened on
    the front. It is recommended that 4-H members wear dark jeans, slacks, shorts, or skirts.

3. In an effort to promote a professional appearance by 4-H members, it is recommended that the shirt or blouse be a solid colored crew neck t-shirt, polo shirt, or
    Henley-type shirt. The 4-H emblem can be silk-screened, fused or securely fastened using a Velcro-type fastener or fabric spray adhesive (no safety pins). 4-H
    members should NOT wear short shorts or short skirts; shirts/tops that are sleeveless, low-cut, or allow the midriff to show. Shirts should be sufficient length to
    be tucked into jeans, slacks, shorts, or skirts.
