A collection of presentations from the 2011 NDSU Feedlot School held January 27 & 28, 2011 at the Carrington Research Extension Center

Feedlot School 2011Interest in feeding cattle to slaughter weights in the northern Plains is increasing. The region has an ample supply of cattle, feed grains, forages and co-products for feedlot use. The presentations from this intensive short course will teach principles of feedlot production, nutrition, management and marketing. Instructors include faculty from NDSU’s Animal Sciences Department and Carrington Research Extension Center, as well as scheduled speakers with extensive
experience working with northern Plains feedlots.
