4-H and Youth

Welcome to

Cass County

4-H!

Check out the slide show of some of our events and activities.

4-H Youth Development programming in Cass County offers opportunities for youth ages 5-18 to experience projects, club meetings, community service and a variety of events and activities while having fun, meeting new friends and learning new skills. Youth choose project areas of interest to them and learn life skills such as responsibility, decision-making, public speaking and leadership. Adult volunteer leaders teach projects to youth using the "learn-by-doing" method. 4-H is the youth development program of the North Dakota State University Extension Service/Cass County.

4-H Emblem

The 4-H emblem is a four-leaf clover with the letter "H" on each leaf. The letters stand for head, heart, hands and health.

4-H Pledge

I pledge:

My Head to clearer thinking,

My Heart to greater loyalty,

My Hands to larger service, and

My Health to better living for my club,

my community, my country and my world.

4-H Motto:

"To Make the Best Better"

4-H Slogan:

"Learn-by-Doing"
