Once again a Dessert Contest will be held in conjunction with the Mountrail Farm & Ranch Day held at the Mountrail County Fair Building, located 1/2 mile south of Stanley on Highway 8. Physical Address: 8101 61st St NW.

An exciting event has returned to the Mountrail County Farm & Ranch Day on Wednesday, February 15 at the Mountrail County Fair Building in Stanley. We invite all the great "neighborhood chefs" in our region to prepare your favorite dessert and enter it in our Dessert Contest and Auction. Entries will be auctioned off to raise funds for the Mountrail County Ag Improvement's Scholarship Fund at 6:30 pm. The MCAIA offers a $1000 college scholarship to a graduating senior to college junior majoring in an ag-related field. (Check out the scholarship link on the left sidebar.)
Desserts need to be dropped off at the Fair Building between 9 am and 4 pm on Wednesday, February 15. They can also be dropped off by 4:30 pm, Tuesday, February 15 at the Mountrail County Extension Office in Stanley if Wednesday does not work for you.
Embroidered aprons will be awarded to the top five desserts courtesy of the Mountrail County Ag Improvement Association and a cash prize will be awarded to top dessert courtesy of the Mountrail County Homemakers.
