Computer Woes-Continued

I think we got rid of all the viruses on Tracy's computer here in the office but it was still locking up so we finally gave up and sent it to our tech department in Fargo where they have all the software to reinstall our programs if necessary.

Planting Time- 4-H Update

Some of the cabbage seedlings are up but none of the peppers yet. Photos can be found on the Burke County Extension Horticulture page.

Fog Again

I have not talked to anyone who has ever seen so much fog in our area. If the wisdom about rain 90 days after a fog is true it may be a wet spring!

Vegetable Grower Certification

Growers within Bottineau County, Burke County, McHenry County, McLean County, Renville County, Sheridan County, and Ward County need to be certified before they can sell fresh produce to restaurants. First District Health Unit does grower certification relating to proper handling and storage of freshly harvested produce and following Good Agricultural Practices (GAP's). If you are interested in becoming certified to sell your produce to restaurants contact the Burke County Extension Office at 701-377-2927 for more information.
