The Animal Sciences undergraduate program offers students professional training designed to prepare students for careers in animal agriculture, animal agribusiness, animal health and allied industries, equine studies, natural resources management, range science, veterinary technology, and related fields. The undergraduate curriculum emphasizes the application of biological and physical principles as well as the social sciences associated with animal agribusiness and natural resource management. Majors as well as minors are available in Animal Production/Business, Animal Science, Equine Studies and Veterinary Technology.
