Dr. Carolyn (Carrie) Hammer (DVM, PhD) is an Assistant Professor in the Equine Studies Program. She graduated from Iowa State University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Animal Physiology. Dr. Hammer's primary responsibilities include overseeing the Equine Studies program and teaching the junior and senior level equine classes.
