Manually Updating McAfee 7.1

First, locate the VShield icon in the system tray (next to the clock).
	Right click on the icon to display a context menu.
At the top of the menu, click on "VirusScan Console" to open the console window.
	In the console window, left-click once on AutoUpdate.
Now, to start the autoupdate, at the top of the screen you will see a button with a green triangle. Click on this to start the update process.
	When updating, you should see a screen that looks something like this. When the update is complete, it will usually start counting down from 30 seconds. If you do not click the Close button, the window will automatically close when the counter reaches 0. Once this is done, your update is complete and you can close all console windows.
