How Do I Tell If My Anti-virus Software Is Up-To-Date?

  1. Locate your V-Shield icon in the system tray (next to the Windows clock). It should resemble a shield with a large red "V" on it.

  2. Right click on this and select "About VirusScan".

  3. A window should pop up that will tell you the virus definition version and the date it was created on.
