What Version Of Windows I Am Using?

Not knowing which version of Windows you have can definately make life difficult when installing new devices or programs or even running updates. Fortuately it is not difficult to discover and only takes a few clicks of the mouse.

  1. Locate the "My Computer" icon on the desktop

  2. Right click on "My Computer", select "Properties"

  3. In the window that appears, in the upper right corner you should find some system information about your computer including the operating system version as well as what service packs (if any) are installed. You may also notice that below this there is other information about your processor and installed memory (RAM).
