Dr. Greg Lardy was awarded the 2010 ASAS Extension Award. Congratulations to him. Along with this honor Greg was the overall program secretary for this year’s ASAS meeting which is a joint meeting of the following societies:
American Society of Animal Science
American Dairy Science Association
Poultry Science Association
Canadian Society of Animal Science
Asociación Mexicana de Producción Animal
Western Section – American Society of Animal Science
The program secretary is responsible for organizing the scientific program which includes more than 2800 oral presentations and posters, as well as 44 symposia.
Allison Meyer was acknowledged for her 3 years of service to the ASAS Board. Kim Vonnahme was elected to the Board as Director-at-Large. Greg Lardy continues as the Midwestern Section Director.
