Wilson submits grant to OSU

Dr. William Wilson, Distinguished Professor in Department of Agribusiness and Applied Economics Department, has submitted a grant proposal in the amount of $50,000 to Ohio State University. The project title is “Development of a New Method for Analysis of Test Weight in Wheat”
Test Weight is the weight of dockage-free grain per unit volume and is a fundamental measurement that currently determines the official market grade of wheat. In this study, he will use a recently developed silica sand displacement method to measure envelope volumes of wheat grains.
