Dr. Wilson submits grant proposal sponsored by the ND Industrial Commission
Dr. William Wilson, Distinguished Professor in Agribusiness and Applied Economics Department, has submitted a grant proposal in the amount of $234,346. The project title is “Renewable Energy Commodity Trading Education Program” sponsored by the North Dakota Industrial Commission.
The objective of this project is to develop a world class renewable energy commodity trading educational program targeted to students, feedstock suppliers, and industry personnel. The expected results are improved and innovative risk management strategies and better trained employees in this sector. The impact of these would be reduced risk, and as a result, less volatile returns and more investment in the sector.
