David Ripplinger submits grant proposal to Golden Growers

Dr. David Ripplinger, Assistant Professor in Agribusiness and Applied Economics department, has submitted a grant proposal in the amount of $73,000 to Golden Growers, Ag Products Utilization Council. The title of this proposal is: “Corn Wet Mill Market Analysis and Valuation”

The Corn Wet Mill Market Analysis and Valuation Study will assess the market for current and potential food ingredients, feed, and renewable chemicals that can be produced or that utilize products from a corn wet mill facility and estimate the value of a corn wet mill based under various future market.

The valuation analysis will use a real options approach to estimate the value of a corn wet under alternative future conditions as identified by the market analysis.
