David Rippling submits grant proposal to American Ag Energy, USDA
Dr. David Ripplinger, Assistant Professor in the Agribusiness and Applied Economics Department, has submitted a grant proposal in the amount of $15,000 to American Ag Energy, USDA.
The title of the grant is: “Torrefied Biomass Marketing Analysis”. A three-stage market study (feedstock assessment, siting, and product demand analysis) for a torrefied biomass facility located in the Northwest Minnesota will be conducted.
The 12-month project is scheduled to begin April 1, 2013, and be completed by March 31, 2014.
