Goals

Lead undergraduate and graduate students by fostering a close relationship among the food industry and students and faculty in the School of Food Systems

Encourage leadership, promote school activities and foster interest in the cereal and food sciences, food safety and food technology professions

Major Activities

Attend and participate in sectional and North Central Area meetings and activities organized by the student association of the Institute of Food Technologists, including Suppliers Night, College Bowl competition and student recognition night

Participate in local events such as Homecoming, Little I, Food Science Open House, annual picnic and community service projects

Organize career workshops for students

Membership Requirements

Interest in the cereal and food sciences, food safety and food technology professions
