4-H Awards and Recognition Banquet

The Oliver County 4-H Awards and Recognition banquet is November 22, 1:00 pm at the Civic Center. 

Join 4-H!

The 2009-2010 has 4-H year has begun.  4-H is open to all youth 9-19 years of age.   To join 4-H, youth should be 8 years old by September 1 and not over 19 years by September 1 of the current year.  Younger youth can become a Cloverbud which is a non competitive program  designed for youth five to eight  years of age.  If you are interested in joining 4-H contact the Oliver County NDSU Extension office at 701/794-8748 for more information or enrollment forms.

Dairy Judging Team Competes

The state winning dairy judging team from Oliver County traveled to Madison, WI to compete in the National Dairy judging contest held in conjunction with the World Dairy Expo.  The team had a very successful trip - judging 10 classes with five classes being a reasons class the team placed fourth overall in the Ayrshire class, 14th overall in reasons and12th overall in team placings.  Good job team!!
